Joie de vivre wine company was established in Bossier City Louisiana so it has a bit of Cajun style. Our company sells great wine for a great price using money saving techniques such as delivering ourselves and cutting out all of the unnecessary items. Simple is better when it comes to saving money for our customers.
Wine should be simple in look but complex in taste and that's how we make it.
The purpose of this company is to not only make wine more affordable but to combine old style with new technology, reaching out to all kinds of wine lovers.
There are currently 5 locations, each with a wine bar so our customers can not only buy the wine at our store but they can buy it and even taste it. Locations of each store are:
Bossier City, La.* DeRidder, La.* Lake Charles, La.* Baton Rouge, La.* New Orleans, La.
The target audience is people who drink wine. This means the audience age group will be 21+. There is a very wide spectrum of people who drink wine and they are all over the place so there will be no shortage of customers. As of right now, the only people local to the stores are in Louisiana so that may affect the target audience a small amount but there are soon to be many more stores.

i love your whole project! The wine bottle you made is spectacular and you did very well on your presentation. This is your best work by far! :)
ReplyDeleteThe logo has a classy and sophistocated look to it, though it could do without the shadowy letters. My favorites out of this project would probably be the storefronts. They make me want to check that store out right away! The commercial wasn't very good in my opinion and and the guy's voice is barely audible. I will agree with Amie that this is the best work I have ever seen you do.
ReplyDeleteI too think your logo looks very nice and sophisticated. It's crazy cool too that you used so many different tools in getting this project together. I really like your drawn objects instead of just stealing stuff off the internet. Nice! I think your media profile pictures are fantastic and very classy. I found the billboard a bit boring in comparison to the rest of your project and also, definitely change that yellow in Wine to a red or burgandy. Yeesh. Pee in the glass, No! It's all coming back! Heh. Anyway, the real photos you used that you placed your logo into are phenomenal! Great job on that, Sam. The commercial, though, was hard to hear and understand and wasn't as great at the rest of your work. (However, it was WAAAAY better than mine, so consider that a point in your favor! lol) Have a nice summer break Sammy-Poo! :)
ReplyDeletei think that you thought your final through very well. liked we talked about in our basic design sculpture today.. just because you spend a lot of time one a project doesn't necessarily mean that its join to be good.. but i feel as if you had a plan a and b for everything that you tried to accomplished and therefore if something didn't work the way that you planned you were able to go about it in a different way. i definitely feel as if you could show this to someone as a portfolio and possibly receive a job off of it.. it was a job well done.
ReplyDeleteBy far the best work you have done all semester! I completely agree with what someone said in class about how you applied everything you learned in this final project. I was very impressed with your work on the bottles, very realistic. I can honestly see your label as a top shelf product at a wine store.
ReplyDeleteAs others have said, I think this is definitely the best work that you've done all semsester. Anything that might have might have been brought up as a flaw in a previous project was listened to and fixed for this last project. You really applied all the things that you have learned throughout the semester to this final and it shows. The fact that you used pictures of real products with your logo really helps them to stand out above products that were just digital images of products with logos on them. Everything that you created definitely looks as if you put a lot of time and thought into them, very good job.
ReplyDeleteThis project blew me away, not that anything else you did was bad, but this was better than everything, both in scope and ambition. Your colors really suit the product. The website definitely looks like a mobile version, and might look odd on a normal computer screen. The product boxes look a little off to me for some reason, but they really do look good. Storefront looked good, but the car looked like it could use some touching up.
ReplyDeleteSam, I love everything about your project. From the nice logo for your bottles to the creative and hard illustrator work you did designing bottles, I just really think this was a very successful project for you. You have come a very long way from the beginning of the semester. The only thing I would change is the color of the wine on your billboard from yellow to red. Other than that, great job!
